Choose The Knowledge Of God

Not only were we given the earth, but everything on it.

God also planted a garden, a beautiful paradise for man called Eden that had everything Adam and Eve needed for a perfect existence. All was very good, no sickness, pain, sorrow or death. Only eternal happiness was intended for God's little family. The resources of the earth were readily available for us to use to build a perfect Kingdom and we had eternity to enjoy the work of our hands. Nothing could limit us. We had the mind of Christ, the knowledge that created all things in the first place to seek wisdom from and go to for advice. All of earth was meant to be a beautiful paradise for God's human family, all creation on it was created to be in harmony with each other, man and God. In fact, our whole planet was in perfect motion with the rest of the universe. All was good as it had been birthed through the perfect knowledge of God. If mankind would have continued living life guided by God through His Word, His Truth, their Way and Life would have remained perfect forever. But no, we had to choose the knowledge of another being. A defective one at that! Satan or Lucifer was his name.

God called His Wisdom, His Word a "Tree of Life" and the source of the other knowledge a "tree of good and evil". The latter would bring death and corruption to God's perfect creation through man's choice. The first man did not comprehend evil, he saw only good. Had he remained obedient to his Creator, he would have never been exposed to the enemy's way of thinking or be the victim of his evil schemes. Sin was not even visible to the first pair before their fall and so their lives reflected only the goodness of God's image and ways. There was no wrong thought as there was only perfect knowledge. The conclusions they came to were only good, perfect.

All the problems encountered today are because of man's desire to be someone. Man sought advice from this lawless being who was in rebellion and direct opposition to God, because he actually wanted to operate through what the deceptive enemy told him was his own wisdom or knowledge. Man wanted and still wants to be wise on their own, not having to share their success with anyone. They want to be like God, self sufficient, self existing. They wish to be looked upon with admiration by others and exalted for their intellect and talents.

Knowledge is like an umbilical cord. Through it comes life or death, depending on the source we are bound to. Our minds were created to retain memory like a bank that stores all that is put into it. When faced with making decisions we draw from what is stored in our memory banks. Our actions are therefore based on what we've been fed, lies or Truth. It would be wonderful if our minds could be scrubbed clean of all the past tainted knowledge, all data gathered from the world, and it be replaced by God's wisdom. Then our thoughts would be God's thoughts and our ways God's ways. We would be in union with Him and in one accord with all that is perfect. As situations arose we would always handle them the correct way and be successful, but no, man goes to all measures to acquire the knowledge of the tree of good and evil. We run to the best colleges, clinics, seminars, etc. that we can expose ourselves to in the systems of the world. Let us look at God's thoughts on our efforts.

So in other words, all Eve gleaned from the tree of good and evil led to death, corruption and decay, and for some strange reason man is still avidly seeking this knowledge today! They surf all kinds of websites, watch TV, read worldly magazines, labor over textbooks etc all to be well informed. You see, we can reason, but only based on what we know. We can exercise our will as we please, but the accuracy of our actions and decisions depends on the source of the knowledge in our minds. Satan's knowledge is based on the fleshly things of this world and how to exist in his culture. God's wisdom is based on the knowledge of His Son, His covenants, the laws written on our hearts and minds. He defines through scripture a plan for His culture, a society in line with His Kingdom and will. Here again scripture gives us good advice.

Those with carnal minds, filled with worldly knowledge love the world Satan has developed and lawlessly care nothing about God's Kingdom.

There are many people today that sadly fit into the above scriptures because they load their minds with knowledge from carnal man's intellect, but at the same time God's family is also growing. Knowledge of God is increasing, and as God reveals His plan of restoration we are just now really beginning to see with the eye of discernment the fullness of what Jesus actually accomplished in His earthly walk. There is so much more information than what the church has taught that is being released for these end times.

All of the above will come about because of those that wisely choose the knowledge of God rather than continuing on as they have been wrongly taught. As Satan's knowledge is the downfall of man, so God's knowledge will restore all the enemy has stolen and return this planet and all creation back to its original purpose and perfection. As Isaiah said in chapter 33:6, "wisdom and knowledge will be the stability of your times". That word times can be translated age, season, or current times as found in the Strongs Concordance, number 6256 in the Hebrew dictionary.

So in closing, it is the knowledge of God that will guide us through these end times, and protect us from the wrath of God as He rids the earth of all wicked knowledge and the dead works it has produced. With its extinction eternal life can be returned to the planet and its inhabitants. Through God's knowledge the earth and all on it will be restored, renewed and His Kingdom will be established. So choose the Tree of Life, choose the knowledge of God!
